Stanton B. Johnson

Stanton is a dedicated, accomplished executive with more than 25 years of technical and general management experience in domestic and international markets. He previously served as President and CEO of Maxam North America, a subsidiary of Maxam Corporation Inc., a global explosives company headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Montana Technological University in Butte, Montana, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Salt Lake City Campus. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Technical Services at Mining Services International. He also worked as Senior Mining Engineer for Liberia’s Ministry of Lands, Mines and Energy before joining Bong Mining Company, a German-owned joint venture, where he spent more than 10 years as a Section Head in the Mining Department.
Stanton is now retired and serves his local church as Chairman of the Deacon Board. He is an effective leader who can guide cross-functional teams, build strong internal and external business relationships, and manage multiple projects at concurrently. His strengths include strategic planning, negotiation, decision-making, project management, leadership, and communication.
